Semi Autonomous Vehicle for Water Quality Assessment

Project Curiosity is aimed at solving the major problem of water pollution leading to the extinction of endangered species within aquatic habitats. According to Natural Resources Defense Council, Unsafe water kills more people each year than war and other forms of violences combined. About 80 percent of the world's dumped-largely untreated waste is emmited back into the environment, polluting rivers, lakes, oceans as well as other related aquatic habitat. This widespread problem of water pollution is jeopardizing our health and this is a major cancer negatively impacting the wellbeing of life on Earth. The objective of this Project is to provide state of the art and seamless Water Quality Assessment by measuring certain essential aquatic conditions such as precipitation rate, alkalinity and acidity, speed of flow, temperature, depth of body, pressure as well as other factors. Another objective is to use this data help analyze and predict future conditions as well as climate to help farmers and workers in coastal areas improve their knowledge base and precision in farming.
